I am a professor in the Astronomy Department at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. I received my Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and I spent three years as a Spitzer postdoctoral fellow at the National Optical Astronomy Observatory in Tucson, Arizona.
My research is focussed on: galaxy formation and evolution, submillimetre and infrared galaxies, star formation rates, active galactic nuclei, spectral energy distributions, interstellar medium conditions at high redshift, galaxy clusters, and the cosmic infrared background.
